“No. It was wrong. It undermined our standing in the world. Nothing like that must ever happen again.”

Well I undertood it was right under the current laws and within the remit of the Scottish Government so perhaps Mr C wouild like to expand on what he means by it must not happen again? Is it
a) It’ll never happen again because we’ve improved airline security so much?
b) The random chance that brought the plane down in Scotland will mean it’ll never happen again (lightning twice and all that)?
c) I’m going to legislate to interfere with Scottish due process (and if he does what is the likihood that the MPs and MSPs that represent Scotland would put up a fight to prevent it)?

Finally he worries about “It undermined our standing in the world” ha,ha,ha, I think Iraq, Afghanistan and the greedy banks have done that Dave – as for Scotland well maybe, just maybe, its standing has gone up a bit in some parts?
